Congratulations to Triple Diamond Director Randy Gage, winner of the 2007 Leader of the Year award! He was presented the award at the second annual leadership retreat in Maui, Hawaii with approximately 70 Senior, Corporate and Diamond Directors in attendance. Last year's winners, Diamond Directors Tony and Sarah Zolecki, were also in attendance and passed on the award, which was presented by Agel's CEO Glen Jensen, President Craig Bradley and Vice President of Global Sales Jeff Higginson.
"Randy Gage is the complete leader and a perfect example of the kind of leaders we are looking for in Agel right now," said Jeff Higginson. "He is charismatic and respectful and truly loves the people in his organization. He fully meets the criteria set in place to be Agel's leader of the year."
The Leader of the Year award was reviewed by the Agel executive team and based on the following criteria: The team member must be part of the Agel organization for a full year and actively pursuing the business. They must lead in several categories, including enrollments, organizational autoship and increasing the percentage of organizational autoship. They must also utilize a proven system of duplication and be a leader in supporting the AgelCares foundation and in helping people around the world.

David and I were the classic 2 income professional couple … I was Director of Research for a NYC consulting company, while David ran his own Manhattan based accounting & business management firm for well known music industry clients. When it got to the point that I was working 60 - 70 hours a week with increasing responsibilities, while David traveled extensively with touring clients, and continued to face escalating costs to run his 13 person NYC practice, we knew we had to look for other options.
Like most professionals today, we were running as fast as we could to keep it all going, and living for the weekends to decompress, before starting all over again Monday morning.
So when a good friend first introduced us to network marketing, we realized we could transition our non-productive hours to begin this business, while not giving up our professions. This segue and idea of having a LEVERAGED GLOBAL INCOME, in multiple time zones, really appealed to both of us!
Initially I was the driving force with David's full support … and as our business grew throughout the USA and Canada as well as multinationally into well over 100,000 homes, in 13 countries, so did the options. About 5 years ago, at age 56, David sold his accounting firm and joined me in our business. How many husbands are given such an option at this stage of their lives? … And the business gave us the freedom to move back to PA just when our family needed us here!
Then, after 17 successful years with one company, and building our business globally in 13 countries, a good friend and industry leader we greatly respect, stopped us right in our tracks in February 2005 as he told us the compelling story of AGEL and how each of the key elements of success were perfectly in place for us to become "ONE OF THE FIRST" in front of the dramatic global growth he envisioned.
